Top Coating for High-Performance Drilling
Based on AlTiN, our new HiDrill coating with nano-layer structure (nano composite material) has been developed to meet the needs of high-performance drilling and cast iron milling tasks. Thanks to its special layer structure, this coating excels with its outstanding wear resistance, high hot hardness and optimised, extremely smooth surface.
Special Layer Composition Thanks to New Depositing Technology
The new HiDrill is a multi-layer (> 50 layers) nano composite material which has been developed for high tribochemical resistance. Its special layer structure becomes possible thanks to the use of special depositing technologies used in our PVD hybrid coating system.
The New High-Performance Drilling Standard
HiDrill’s nano layer structure minimises its internal tension and improves the coat’s toughness without sacrificing hardness. This significantly improves its performance in high-performance drilling and makes it more durable.
