At the high end of our chromium-based coating systems, CrNOX stands out simply because of its characteristic rainbow coloration. This is due to the integrated oxide top coat. As a result, CrNOX provides reliable protection against corrosive attack on tool steel as well as mechanical wear caused by fiber-reinforced or additivecontaining polymer melts. And is therefore particularly well-suited for use with fiber-reinforced plastics.
Another advantage: The reduced tendency for adhesion and improved release characteristics enhance process stability and productivity!
