Our DUMATIC coating, the top-of-the-line solution for metal forming, is always manufactured as a DUPLEX variant using a plasma diffusion process on the base material.The PVD-deposited multilayer structure with a high TiC content (approx. 4,000 HV!) ensures maximum hardness, excellent wear resistance and a smooth, low-friction surface. Deposition at a process temperature of around 450 °C results in a distortion-free, adhesive layer that is also ideally suited for polished tools.
